Can’t Connect to Router Configured as Wireless AP

Hello everyone. So my wireless router is set to wireless AP mode and my modem is on bridge mode, and now I cannot access the internet at all or the router settings to try and fix it. I’ve even tried plugging in an ethernet cord to try and access the router settings but nothing seems to be working and I have no idea how to fix this. If someone knows how to resolve this issue suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
  • I hadn’t realized that my gateway was on bridge mode until it was too late, but I have since resolved the issue and everything is working fine now. Thank you for your input :)

To fix the issue I simply reset my router to the factory settings (although I didn’t want to) but I did not know if any other way to fix the problem because there was no way to actually connect to the router. From there I just set up the router the way I did before just without Wireless AP mode on.

  • Why did you set the router to AP mode and the modem to bridge mode?  You should have exactly one device functioning as a router.
