Can't factory reset R6700v3?
I'm following the instructions from here:

The lights blink, router turns off and restarts but keeps all the same settings. How do I factory reset this router? Any ideas?
I have the latest firmware version: V1.0.4.128_10.0.104

You might want to try a little longer than 7 seconds. It is not a precision part of the operation unless you cut it too short.
Ten to fifteen seconds will not hurt. You will know you have been successful when the default SSID on the label starts broadcasting over Wi-Fi. I have seen some devices that took more than one reset to be successful.
You could also try doing it through the gui.

- Select ADVANCED > Administration > Backup Settings.
- Click the Erase button.
Get familiar with that page. It is also useful for saving your settings.
