Cant get gig internet on r7000

I just got gig internet but I can't get the right speeds I have turned off  QoS , Parental Controls, Traffic Meter and Access Control but some odd reason I only can get 400 Mbps up and 400 Mbps down when  I can higher speeds than this so what else should I turn off?  or turn on

If you hook directly up to the modem what speeds do you get?

What firmware is on the R7000?

What device are you testing with?

Are you using an ethernet based devices with gigabit connection for speedtesting?

What website are you testing with?  (I recommend speedtest.xfinity.com or speedtest.googlefiber.net)

      I'm on firmware 1.0.9.64_10.2.64

I'm running both my pc using 1gb ethernet  and note 8

      and I using speedtest.net

        1. What speeds do you get using the websites I mentioned, when you are directly hardwired to the modem?

        2.  If your direct speeds to modem are gigabit, try a full reset of the modem and start fresh. Sometime this helps.

        3. That firmware has been known to have some issues for some people (not all). an earlier firmware that's been getting decent results is the .42 firmware. You could try downgrading to that.

        4. The note 8 is wireless. You won't hit gigabit speeds over wireless with wireless AC.  its why we recommend testing over hardwired connection and to make sure its gigabit.
