Can't Register R8500

I posted several days ago but have received no appropriate responses and now I do not see my post (deleted? -why?)

 

When I tried to register my product I received the statement that it was already registered.  How is this possible when it was shrink wrapped, in an unopened box, and bought at Best Buy.  If I can not register my top of the line wifi router, how can I get warranty work if needed in the future?  Why doesn't Netgear provide a phone number to call or at least an email for support contact.  Disgusted.

  • This is in the ReadyNAS area, so you posted it in the wrong place.

     

    I will move to the Nighthawk router area.  Hopefully someone from Netgear support will see this and get back to you.

     

    You might try one more time in the meantime though, and triple-check the serial number you enter.

      I have triple checked that I entered the correct serial number.  Thanks for the help in getting it posted in the proper area.
