Does Nighthawk r7000 has implicit beamforming?
I want to know does Nighthawk r7000 dual band AC1900 wireless router have implicit beamforming or explicit?
and my laptop has "802.11 a" Is that good, or I have to buy "802.11a/c" adapter.(specially for beamforming +).

you need a AC client for beamforming it's part of the AC standard. As for other question I believe that feature is more of a Client option meaning if the client has it netgear AC routers support it. Been awhile since I read up on it but I thought it was a
"Netgear" feature meaning you'll need a netgear client.

One example of beamforming WiFi card is Intel AC7260. It gives slight improvement in throughput, don't expect miracle.
