Don't see wifi 6 channel

I've read a similar post here but no answer. Question is why do I not see an option to connect to wifi 6 channel? I have a device that is wifi 6 but no option to connect to wifi 6. Only shows the 2.4 and 5g. Please help had router since may and still can't figure it out.

    Suspect you are confused by the designations. WiFi 6 does not say it does support the 6 GHz channels - that would be WiFi 6E.

      Ax11000 RaxE500 router. Firmware v1. 0.7.68 so what you are saying is even tho I have a device connected to 5g channel it connects as 6g?

        What "wifi 6" device do you have? 

        Wifi 5 is just 2.4ghz/5ghz. 

        6E is the 6ghz spectrum. 

        So letting us know what actual device you have will help us determine if it actually has 6ghz capabilities.
