Help me troubleshoot my C7000v2
I have been experiencing issues over the past couple of days where my internet drops periodically throughout the day. Sometimes I need to reboot my modem/router othertimes it comes back online on its own. I contacted my ISP (Comcast) and they said everything looked good on their end. I'm wondering if my modem is outdated or fried or if its a problem with the cable connection. Any idea on how to troubleshoot this problem? When the internet goes out the internet icon on my modem goes dark or blinks. Also one or 2 times either the upstream or downstream arrows on my modem were orange instead of green. How do I go about troubleshooting this issue? I can provide logs / cable connection information from the router page. Also it normally kicks me off the internet while im using my xbox for a period of time (which is hardwired into the modem). Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a screen snip of the cable connections page and the event logs from the c7000?
that helps us to actually check the connection. Xfinity is great at saying "its not our line"

I've attached some screenshots of different things. Note - the internet was running perfectly fine when I took these screenshots, I can take more screenshots the next time the internet loses signal.

Event logs help more than logs. Event logs show the modem side.
but you have a bunch of errors in your line.
Remove any splitters, amplifiers, or signal attenuators in your line.
check the line for kinks, damage, bad/old/corroded/cheap connectors and remove them.
Preferably, move the C7000 to right where the coax comes into the home to prevent wiring internal to the home being the issue.
