Help with Router

So the Internet suddenly stopped working, I reset the Router and Modem, same problem. The Internet light is Red. The Internet is working from the Modem as we connect it directly to laptop.

When Router is turned on, Internet light is red again. Weird thing is, on my phone when connected to wifi, Whatsapp is working perfectly fine, including video calls. So does Netflix. But nothing else works on the Internet. What should I do? Thanks in advance! :)

    did parental controls get turned on? 

    Or the DNS provider get changed?

    Have you tried a simple factory reset and reinstall?

    What modem do you have? 

    What firmware is on the router?
