High ping spikes R7350
My computers have this random time and day of the week getting wifi ping spikes (up to 1000ms; not talking about gaming ping spikes, this is general packet ping) and packet loss. On my computer i found out the spatial stream speed went from 70mbps to as low as 6mbps when the ping spikes and packet loss happen. After it goes back to 70mbps but the ping spikes still exist (though its to 130ms or so). Funny thing is that my mobile wifi connections like smartphones has no problem using the internet. Sometimes resetting my wifi adapter fixes the ping problem but other times it just resets the really low mbps to regular speeds.
The firmware is

1.What modem/gateway is it connected to?
2. the firmware you're on was the original release firmware. There's newer versions released. I'd recommend updating the router over a hardwired connection, factory reset it, and do a clean install (not from a backup configuration).
3. The devices that are having issues, are they hardwired? wireless? and if wireless, are they on the 2.4ghz or 5ghz?

It is connected to Arris modem by giggle fiber. Ill try updating the router. The computers are using wifi at 2.4ghz

Which arris modem?
And switch the computers to the 5ghz if you're going to be on wireless. 2.4ghz is more sensitive to interference than 5ghz. its also much slower.
