High ping to local router (Nighthawk ac1900 R7000)

Question

I've suddenly gotten high ping. Router was working fine and was stable since October.

When pinging via CMD : ping 192.168.1.1 -t

on both 2.4 and 5ghz I find the ping to spike a lot going from 1 to 30 and sometimes 100+ ms. This is a lot worse on 2.4ghz.

If there is high ping between my router and my PC, that would undoubtedly make the ping to the internet high aswell (which I am experiencing).

I've tried changing channels, and making sure no one else is on that channel as well as disabling QOS.

What firmware is on your router?&nbsp;
Do all devices have the same issue? or just the one?&nbsp;

High ping is on all devices. Firmware is up to date, just checked last night

what actual firmware are you on?&nbsp;
the R7000 is knowns for saying "up to day" when its not.&nbsp;
what modem are you using?&nbsp;

the latest firmware is currently 1.0.11.130.&nbsp;
Try installing that, doing a factory reset, and reinstall.&nbsp;
