How do I setup a bridge mode on the NETGEAR R7000?

Based on the instruction that came with my Netgear Nighthawk R7000 AC1900 Smart WiFi Router, I disconnected the router provided by my cable company and replaced it with my Netgear router.  Although the WiFi is working, I am getting intermittent service on my TV and the internet constantly drops off.  Upon reviewing reviewing the communities conversation it looks like I may need to set up a bridge.  How do I go about doing that?

       _Which_ "instruction"?

       Firmware version?  Connected to what?

If you bought it new, did you try Netgear support?

The whole thing, or some particular parts, or what?

What, exactly, led you to that conclusion?  What, exactly, does "set
up a bridge" mean to you?

I followed the manufacturer's instructions that came in the box with the new router. I am using the cable company's modem but replaced their WiFi router with my Netgear 36 nighthawk R7000 router. It worked fine for a while but now my internet connection keeps dropping. After reading the various related issues other users had it seemed like I needed to create a bridge. Based on your feedbacks and since it is a new router I will be contacting their support group. Thank you all for your support.

With my weak psychic powers, I can't see them from here.  Thus, I
don't know what you read, or what you did.

Which part of "exactly" did you find confusing?

Thanks for answering none of the questions.

You might need to provide some useful information, there, too.

What provides the Internet to these routers? There is usually a modem of some sort between the router and the outside world.

Most ISPs supply a modem/router to do that. You cant just remove that and use a router in its place. So what is feeding the R7000?
