I can't stand when my router reboots

Remember in the mid-90's when people used to complain about Windows rebooting every time they installed any piece of software? That was 25+ years ago. Microsoft listened made changes to their OS to reduce the reboots.

I hate it when every one of my Netgear routers reboot for any change to settings, even DNS servers IPs? It's lazy and I Fn hate it.

You gave us nothing to go off. If it reboots on it's own, means there is a problem that needs to be troubleshot and figured out.
To get a hold of support. Click on "MyNetgear" at the top.
Register an account (or login) and then the device.
From there you can start the support process. Keep in mind that its only free for the first 90 days.
There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
    Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.
Its a great resource to start with.

I think the OP is just stating its annoying how when you make changes in the gui, half the time the router has to reboot or it takes forever to change. It is a bit annoying.

Older routers, how they had the code setup. Newer one it's much less seen thought some major changes are still seeing a reboot.

The only time when my R7800 reboots is when I update the firmware.

Otherwise I can play around to my heart's content and never see a reboot.
