Losing internet on phones and computers, not Roku

My router loses its internet connection and that affects phones and computers. Interesting enough, no issues with Roku devices

Thoughts?

    What router do you have?
    What firmware is on it? 

    What modem/gateway is it connected to? 

    Is this a new purchase or whats changed since this started happening?

      Not a new router. Been in place for years. Been happening for a few months

        what modem/gateway is it connected to?

        Does it impact wired devices as well as wireless? 

        Has a factory reset/reinstall been tried?

    If the Roku keeps an Internet connection, then it is hard to see how it does that if the router loses the connection.

     

    Could it be the phones and computers?

     

    What do the router's LEDs show when this happens.
