Missing 2 and5 g

I am using the A7000 nighthawk with a netgear WN2500RP range extender.  I had to do a factory reset on my equipment recently.  Now, when I check my available networks, I see the Netgear32 (2.4 G)  Netgear32-2.4G extention and Netgear32-5G extention.  Previosly, I also had the Netgerr32 2.4 and 5 G with out extention.  This meant I had 5 network options instead of 3.

What changed and am I able to get the other 2 portions of my network back?

    What router do you have?

    And firmware on the router?

A7000 is a wireless usb adapter.

did you setup the WN2500rp using wps or using the installation wizard?

Thanks for getting back to me!  much appreciated!

My router is an AC1900 Smart WiFi Nighthawk.  Model: R7000
      The Firmware is version V1.0.11.126
and I DID use the WPS to connect the extender to the wireless router.

By the way, I was able to get the 5G back on my network choices by changing the "SMART CONNECT" settings.

Is there anything else I need to do to maximize my connections?

Glad you got it working. Not much to do if you've got it up and running. You can make sure you're on the least congested wireless channels but thats where I'd start
