Dec 15, 2021MK63-MR/MS-60 Connectivity Issues
Recently picked up a Netgear Nighthawk Mesh WiFi MK63 system and am having a surprisingly hard time connecting the 2nd sattelite. I've spent a good amount of time in here reading about similar issues and tried to cherry pick some support where possible. I ended up manually updating the BIOS to V1.1.6.122_2.0.58 on the router and on both sattelites. I also sync' them all in very near proximity. The router is on my second floor, and have two sattelites spread across no more than 25 feet on the main level. One of the sattelites ONLY connects when the backhaul ethernet is plugged in to the router. The moment I unplug it and move it back down to the main level is vanishes and leaves a solid amber light. Any tips? Suggestions?
The network setup is fairly simple: Cable Modem & Router -> MR60 -> MS60s

Try swapping MS locations.
Turn OFF the other MS for now.
Does the one MS wirelessly connect if near or in same room as the MR?What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

One MS will connect wirelessly in the same room; the other is sitting right beside it and will not.
I'll try moving them around and see if that makes a difference.
The home is about 2600 sq ft. I'd guess the distance is >30 feet.

Might try a factory reset on the one MS and try to re-sync it. I'd leave off the working MS for now.
