N900
I'm going to relace old N900 with a new Nighthawk soon.
i want to know if I need to uninstall the oldGenie software or and any other files or software from the old router before I set up neww model?
Didn't see anythng about this other than unplug old router.

There no files on the n900 router that would just your ssid and passphrease for your wifi and username and password if you want to reuse them using the same wifi setting would save time if you have alot of wifi devices in resetting them when you move the new router.
Genie I'am not sure I do not know what genie your using and what you want to do with the new router.
