Netgear AC1750 R6700v2 has no internet connection
The last few days the internet has been cutting in and out every few minutes. I first thought it was our local rural provider but it seems now thats its my router. We are on fiber and dont require a modem. With everything plugged into the router correctly the internet LED will turn amber briefly then go dark and stay dark. I have no problem connecting to the router but there is no output on either wifi or hard wired. When I bypass the router and plug cord into the pc directly i have no issues. I ran a speed test (89.4mbps down 32.5up 47ms ping) and a Ping over time test. I ran it 5 minutes and had zero loss and average 22ms ping. The firmware is up to date v1.2.0.88. I have not done a factory reset yet.

UPDATE: I shut router down and unplugged power and all cat5. I left it shut off for a few minutes and then plugged router power back in and turned it on to complete startup. I then plugged in the single "in" cat5 cord. I immediately got an amber light on internet but only briefly then it went dark. It started coming on and off so i timed it for a few minutes. The amber light would be on for 10 seconds then dark 20-30 seconds.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?If you factory reset the router by pressing the reset button, with out the router connected to anything, does the router turn ON and blink as per user manual or installation guide?
Try a different power adapter with same volts and amps on stock adapter...
CAT6 lan cable is recommended.- HunnicuttAspirant
