Question

I am at a complete loss for words that this product .... doesn’t come with a power cord??? Unbelievable. Ordered from Amazon. Something that is bought to be mounted on the wall or ceiling doesn’t come with a power cord? But it has the power outlet/jack in the back of the device? Truly baffling and doesn’t make any sense at all. I had to go out and make a separate trip to get something that fits it. Really frustrating and non-sensical. It is not mentioned in the package contents but it absolutely should be included ... incredibly misleading. Why would anyone buy this without a source of power to make it work?

Okay. Heard. You didn’t have to be quite that much of a **bleep** about it in your delivery, but enticing novel response and valid points. I didn’t know PoE was a thing. I should have read and dug more .. but i tried everything without the power cord and it didn’t seem to work.

&gt; [...] You didn't have to be quite that much of a **bleep** about it in&gt; your delivery, [...]&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "Ma, _he_ started it!"&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; If you had started with something like the following, then myresponse would likely have been quite different:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I bought a new WAC510, which has a power jack, but no power&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; adapter was included in the kit.&nbsp; What am I missing?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; See the difference?&nbsp; But NOooo...&nbsp; You had to get all huffy, rightoff the line.&gt; [...] but i tried everything without the power cord and it didn't seem&gt; to work.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "everything" and "everything I could think of" are spelleddifferently for a reason.&nbsp; But the latter is usually adjustable.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; If you don't have the appropriate PoE gizmos/capabilities, then you'dneed a conventional power adapter.&nbsp; As the documentation suggests,either method can be used.
