Netgear Nighthawk r7000p 5g issues

I recently bought a renewed Netgear Nighthawk r7000p on amazon, the router works great, however there is a minor issue that is quite annoying, I use the 5g daily on my cell phone and tablets to connect to the internet. it seems like this problem happens every 48 hours, I lose 5G connections on all devices, when i look at the available wifi list on the devices the 5G is gone only the 2.4G is there... rebooting the router using the app on my phone fixes this and the 5g returns for another 48 hours...  sometimes rebooting in the app does not fix it and i have to power down the router for a minute then re start it...  any ideas why this is happening? the router i replaced was an asus router and the asus worked fine for 7 years and never did this...

    What firmware version are you on? 

    What modem/gateway is the router connected to?

      The Modem is provided by the cable company, it is an Arris TM-722, the router has firmware version v1.3.2.126 hope this helps...

        Did you try a factory reset and reinstall? The R7000P has had quite a few factory updates. It could be an old setting causing issues.
