netgear nighthawk r9000

Question

Hello,&nbsp;&nbsp;I have a Netger Nighthawk x 10 router (R9000) and all of a sudden I am unable to connect via WIFI as the router does not broadcast the wifi anymore. The wifi signal is active via the button as I can see the LEDs blinking, but no WIFI signal broadcasted. On LAN it works perfectly. Any ideas on how to fix this?thanks

Have you logged into the router (hardwired) to see if the ssid has changed?&nbsp;
Or if the ssid broadcast was disabled?&nbsp;

Hello. Both are active and broadcasting. I have checked that in the first place. Nothing has changed. Any other ideas?

Simple factory reset and reinstall?

Did That. Same issue. I will throw it away . 100% has a failure somewhere

So instead of throwing the router away, why not just turn OFF the wifi radios and then connect up a wired external wifi system to the R9000? I found a slightly used Nighthawk MK63 MESH system on Amazon for cheap. You could connect this system up in AP mode and still use the R9000's router portion.&nbsp;
