Netgear R6700AX can't connect new router to LG tv to get internet connection
After hours getting new router to access internet, now I can't connect to the internet on LG webOS tv. TV software up to date. I am entering the correct password for new wireless network but get an error message re: password...

What security mode do you have set on the R series router? WPA, WPA 2? Mixed.
Temporarily disable wifi security mode on the router just to see if the TV can connect to it at all. Re-enable WPA2 and AES after checking this.
Try changing channels, try 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and try 40 or 149 on 5Ghz.
Try with Smart Connect enabled and disabled.
Your subject says "R6700AX can't connect new router to LG tv to get internet connection".
Start thinking of it as the other way round. LG TV can't connect to R6700AX. (Is that the new router?)
Is this a wifi connection?
Most TVs have their own set up routine. You need to run the TV through that. Are you doing this?
What happens and where does it go wrong?
