Nighthawk AC2300 Smart WiFi Router drops internet output

I have troubleshot and had Google Technicians troubleshoot my internet issues on 6 occasions. I have purchased over a dozen new Ethernet cables ranging from CAT 6 -CAT 8, reset to factory settings, and ensured all firmware is up to date. However, once or twice daily the WiFi and even Ethernet (hard-wired) connected systems completely lose connection. There are ZERO indications on the router itself, PLEASE HELP, I’m about to swear off Netgear forever.

  • What gateway is it connected to?

what firmware is on the router? (hint, the latest isn't always the greatest)

did you ever try a factory reset and reinstall on the router?

I’m not sure how to check or alter that, and unfortunately getting a hold of Netgear support directly is nearly impossible.

The gateway is what modem/fibre box the router is connected to.

the firmware is what runs the router. log into the router. top right side (I think, not at home to check) of the page has the firmware version. Or the status page will.
