Nighthawk R7000 slow download speeds
I'm getting slow speed through a wired connection. It's slow on a Xbox one. As well as a lap top. I've tried different cables as well. Wi-Fi is pretty fast. Tried resetting the router butg nothing seems to correct the problem. Any suggestion?
- Looks like disabling QOS worked. Don't understand that a feature that's supposed to help does the complete opposite. Thanks for the help.

To help - not so, it depends on what speed do you have from you ISP. If this speed is 100 Mbit or more QoS will not improve you speed.

Would like more information please:
- What is the ISP speed you should be getting?
- What is the wired speed you are getting?
- What is the band that the wireless speed it on?
- Are you getting the wireless from the R7000 or your ISP's modem (which might provide wireless)?
- Can you open the router's web page in a browser and select the ADVANCED tab on the top. Then on the INTERNET PORT box select SHOW STATISTICS. What do you see for PORTS STATUS for WAN and LAN 1 - 4? Is it 1000M/Full? Yes, some will show LINK DOWN if there is NOT a cable in the socket for that LAN port.
- What Router Flash are you using?
