I installed a SimplSafe camera last year then this year installed 2 ring doorbells, I had to do a factory reset on my router as it was acting up and I could not log into it, When the router came back up all worked fine except the SimpliSafe camera so I tried installing it without success.
I called simplisafe and they ended up sending me a new camera that had the same problem, After all of that I went to the router and found out it was trying to install the camera as a ring doorbell.
I cannot find a way to delete a device from the router. I have changed the device shown as a ring doorbell to the SimpliSafe camera information but still when I try to install the camera and it gets to where it asks if the light on the camera is flashing white it is flashing blue which means it is being used and will not connect to the router, That is the same way it acted when the info in the router was for a ring doorbell.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

1. the router doesn't install anything. It simply has wifi the camera/doorbell can connect to.
2. what firmware version are you on?
3. what modem/gateway is the router connected to?4. Are you on ios? If so, make icloud relay and private mac/ip address are disabled.

What arris modem is it?
You're not on the latest firmware. You can manually update. The latest (now) is 1.0.11.136.
