Nighthawk R7800 - Imposible regirter router in ReadyCloud
Model: Nighthawk X4S AC2600 (R7800)
Firmware: V1.0.2.28 (Latest)
I have created a new account from here, which gives me access to the MyNetgear account.
Next step should be register to the ReadyCloud account with email and password, from router setup page http://routerlogin.net.
Surprisingly, in the router page asks for ReadyCloud account username/password (I don't have an username, I'm a new user and I can't do a migration).
When I try to login with my email and password the registrations fails, showing up Registration failed. Please check your user name and password and try again (see foto below).
I have tested with different emails and passwords with no luck.
It's a router problem? Can I get the old registration username somewhere?
Regards,
I've detected the problem.
As can be seen in the picture (but I didn't stated in the first post), the router was configured in AP MODE, which doesn't detect properly internet connection to connect succesfully to ReadyCloud (having an active connection obviously).
Configuring the router in standard or router mode, the ReadyCloud registering process has no problem at all.
I think this should be fixed, to be able to register the router also in AP MODE.
Best regards,

Sure.
It redirects to the web url said before in the creating account step.
The url is: https://readycloud.netgear.com/client/en/welcome.html#page=access

Hi Josu_Goros,
Use the email address you used when creating an account as the username when registering.
