    Hi Routermania17,

Try changing the channel of 5Ghz. If still the same, reset and reconfigure.

        Hi Routermania17,

The issue on both 5Ghz-1 and 5Ghz 2?

  • We upgraded a client to this firmware today and are also experiencing multiple and frequent disconnects on WiFi. We are going to have to roll back to a previous version.

Having the same issue. Resetting the router a couple of times a day to keep the wifi working. Is there any way to notify Netgear directly that this is an issue?

Has anyone tried the DD-WRT firmware?

  • Hello All,

Here is my issue, I have the latest firmware update and since that update I have had a terrible time staying connected or getting any of the download or upload speeds I am paying for.  I had an Xfinity guy come out and dissconnect the router and test the modem and am getting on avearge download speeds of 250mbps and uploads of around 11 - 12mbps.  Once we connect the router it drops to 40mbps - 60mbps,

I have reset the router, I have disconnected everything and redid set up and still the same issue.  I have talked a a few trusted colleauges and they mentioned the latest update Version:1.0.3.54_1.1.37 is causing these issues and I need to rollback to the previous firware release.

Any advice or reccomendations would be very helpful. Thanks

    Brian
