Nighthawk X4 AC2350 - does it have a fan?
About the Nighthawk X4 AC2350 Smart WiFi Router ....
1. Based on searching for "fan" in the full user manual for this router, it appears it does NOT have a fan in it. Is that correct?
2. Assuming I'm right (no fan) Is there any reason why this device would emit a sound of any kind?
I'd be most grateful to anybody who can clarify these two points!
Is that audible or loud?
is the sound coming from the router box unit or the power adapter?
If the sound is coming from the router box, then maybe time for a new router. Nothing can be done for odd noises coming from the router box inside.

3) X4 AC2350 is a speed, not model number! These start for WiFi6 routers with RAXA family member thought she could hear a faint, high-pitched whine, similar to tinitus. But I can't hear it so I'm trying to explore the possibilities ....
- More often than not, it's coil whine.
"Model R7500v2" it says underneath.
