Nighthawk X6 AC2200 Mesh Extender - Model EX7700

Hello -

I am noticiing an "Unknown" Device showing up on my Router via the Nighthawk App. It appears to be pulling bandwidth. It only shows MAC address with a black IP address. I have been unsuccessful in locating what Device this could be. I have verfied all other devices and smart devices do not match this MAC address. The newtwork is password proceted, so it is not a neighbor. The network is only used for a working computer so no other devices have access, so it's odd an unknown device is consistently present.

Is there a way to identify this device with only a MAC address?

Is there a way to block or remove this unknown device from my Extender?

Please advise, thank you very much.

"appears"?  I don't know how anything could be "pulling bandwidth"
    without having an IP address.

If you're using an extender, then you might see some "virtual" MAC
    addresses.

Rather than trying to match MAC addresses, you might try
removing/restoring power from/to various devices to see what comes and
goes in whichever lists you're viewing.

Thank you for the update. I have tried this but to no avail.

Is there a way to block or remove this Unknown device from the router via the Nighthawk App? I don't see any option for that but have seen prior posts with people claiming they did that.

"this" tells me nothing, and "no avail" is no better.

None of that is a useful problem description.  It does not say what
you did.  It does not say what happened when you did it.  As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
        descriptions or interpretations.

I don't use any Netgear-supplied app, or any extenders, so I know
nothing.  I also know nothing about your (unspecified) "my Router", but
you might want to investigate the router's access control capability.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation.  Get the User Manual (at least).  Read.
Look for a topic like "Control Access to Your Network" or "access
        control".
