Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Smart WiFi Router (R8000) - issues -> No Ethernet Cable Is Plugged

Hi,

I came across the issue few weeks ago and still was not able to fix it.

All kind of support for this device already expired. Router was bought in 2020.

I have modem SURFboard SB6141

Issue is

"""

No Ethernet Cable Is Plugged into the Router Internet Port

Make sure that the cable is securely plugged into both the broadband modem port and the router Internet port.

After you have checked the Ethernet cable, click Try again.

"""

What I have tried:

* reset router to defaults and configure back (did not help)

* use older netgrear router (R6300),  I was able to connect to internet with same cable and modem

* I have try to change cable, did not work

* hardware was not updated yet

Any ideas appreciated. PS I have read the forum.

Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
    Turn off and unplug modem.
    Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.

        Factory reset the ISP modem.

Swap LAN cable between the modem and router. Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

Try a factory reset on the router and setup from scratch.
