Nighthawk X6 R8000 2.4ghz won't broadcast
Firmware: V1.0.4.84_10.1.84
OS: Linux Mint
While I was out of town, my printer disconnected from the wifi. The printer is fine, it picks up other SSIDs, but my router is no longer broadcasting the 2.4ghz connection. 5g connections are fine. I've tried changing the channels to 1, 6, and 11. I've also tried disabling BEAMFORMING (I read about it in another forum somewhere). Nothing seems to be working, can't get the 2.4 signal anywhere.
The 2.4ghz light flashes white on the router. I've reset, restarted, and pet the router and gave it positive words of affirmation. Nothing seems to work.
I would consider myself a tech-medium savvy person. But I follow instructions well, so there's that. Thanks for any help, I really need my printer back online!
I gave up and bought a new router. Thanks for helping though, much appreciated

Try this, press the reset button for 10 seconds then release. After all LEDS turn OFF and the power LED turns ON, pull the power plug from the wall out let for 1 minute. Press the power button in back so thats it's in the OFF position. Then after 1 minute, plug in the power adapter then turn ON the router in back.
When the router is ready, walk thru the setup wizard using a wired PC and web browser at 192.168.1.1 and complete the setup wizard process.

Thanks for writing. I did those steps and I think the 2.4ghz is now sort of visible, but the signal is so weak, the printer cannot pick it up. The router and printer are practically beside one another.

How long have you had the router for?
How are you determining the single is weak?
