Nighthawk X6 R8000 cannot login
Hi,
I have just bought a Nighthawk X6 R8000 router that I'm trying to set up.
I can reach routerlogin.net (using either safari or Chrome on my Macbook) but seems admin//password is not accepted as credentials. I have reset the router multiple times.
Any suggestions?

- Not if its back to defaults.
Did you try a different pc/device?
or try a 30/30/30 reset?
push and hold reset for 30 seconds while powered on, then shut if off for 30 seconds while holding reset, then power it back up while still holding reset for 30 seconds.

1. its case sensitive.
2. some don't hold reset long enough. push and hold while powered on for 7-15 seconds. The lights should blink/flash when held long enough
3. If you have any password managers, disable them. They're very good at overwriting data

Tried all of the above. Including holding reset button for 30 sec (after which the unit restarts so I guess factory reset works).
I have an older Netgear router which I can access without a problem.
Is there any circumstance under which the admin user/password is changed?- Not if its back to defaults.
