Nighthawk X6s compatibility with Nighthawk X4s Dual band AC3200

Has anyone had any luck connecting the Nighthawk X4s AC3200 with the Nighthawk X6s - EX8000 extender?

We haven't had much luck getting the x6s to work with our old Arris router and are thinking of upgrading our router and service from sparklight to improve the coverage and hopefully push the signal to and outside workshop.

The EX8000 works pretty well. I've got one and I've connected it to an Arris SBG8300 before. It worked fine.

What actual issue are you having?

It might be worth trying to figure out whats going on before throwing hardware at the problem

You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Nighthawk WiFi Routers. (This is easily done, given Netgear's complicated community structure.)

Many questions apply to different types of device, so you might get responses here, but you might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your hardware, in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:

    Cable Modems & Routers

or, in the case of the EX8000, here:

WiFi Range Extenders & Nighthawk Mesh - NETGEAR Communities

In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
