Nintendo Switch Cannot Connect to Wifi on Nighthawk X6 (R8000)
Hi Netgear community. New here and looking for advice.
All of a sudden, my kids' Nintendo Switch lites cannot connect to the WiFi at home. I have rebooted the Virgin hub (modem only mode) and the Nighthawk router, but that didn't work. Both Nintendos worked for the last 12 months plus. Now both of them fail to connect.
The password is entered correctly, none of the 3 channels will connect (5 or 2.4ghz). Everything else in the house connects as normal. Internet speeds are normal. It would appear that either Netgear or Nintendo have changed something with an update and this is the result.
I have seen some historic posts around this forum with similar issues, but no clear answer on how to resolve it and the threads have been archived.
I'm not tech savvy, so would appreciate any patient assistance people could offer.

Then recreate the link from scratch.
- PropseroAspirantI did try that with one of the three channels but it didn't work.

Is that WPA2 AES or TPIK?
What happens if you set NONE for security temporarily and try to connect the Switch device to the router?
Re-enable WPA2 and AES after testing this. MIght try WPA and TPIK and see...
