No internet connection
After getting Fiber hooked up my router won’t connect to the internet. It will connect to the network but not the WiFi. I have tried rebooting the router but no luck. The guy installed the fiber and put the cable in the router( No Modem) first 5 light light up to white and the WiFi on/off and the WPS lights up white.
- Ok fixed it. Held the reset button in for 30 secs. Then got on my nighthawk netgear app. Did a new set up and it connected to internet!!!! Before I was just resetting it by pushing it one time. Holding it in 30 secs resets it back to factory setting. Try this... hope it works for you.

- Gi3AspirantHello. Sounds like same issue for me. Internet provider ran many tests. The issue is the ethernet connection. Modem is not connecting to router/netgear nighthawk. The modem doesn't detect it. Tried other ethernet ports with no success. Hoping someone here knows a solution.

You should use the Web UI at routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1 to configure a router after a factory reset. The app is very limited and can get things wrong
