NTP timezone on R7000P not accepted
Has anyone ever gotten a satisfactory response from Netgear on the NTP settings bug for the Netgear routers?
I'm constantly having issues with my router and I can't help but shake the feeling that the fact that the router insists that it's operating in the GMT timezone while my ISP and all my LAN devices are operating in the ACDT timezone.
I've gone in numourous times to reset it but it still just shows the GMT date and time relative to my own in the web interface and in the logs.
Doing a search for this issue shows this as a problem going back many years for a few different brands of routers. It makes me wish I hadn't bought a Netgear device with the issues I've been having.
I'm currently on firmware version V1.3.3.142_10.1.75 and I've seen the past posts about downgrading however there's also the warning to keep on the latest firmware for security issues.
So it's a rock and hard place situation, and there's no guarantee that a downgrade will solve the NTP issue and also not introduce a bug that was sorted with a later firmware.

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

I'm patched with my router into an NBN FTTP NTD.
I'm using Microsoft Edge (Chromium) but also tried with Opera.
Yes have done factory resets since the last firmware update.

Curious if you disconnected the router from the ISP NTD device, can you change the NTP configuration at all?
Wonder if you revert back to last working version if it resolves?
