There's a number 6 right by my wifi signal and am wondering what it means. Contacted Samsung, they didn't have a clue so I'm asking netgear since it might mean wifi 6 is what I'm receiving on ny smartphone, tablets, etc?

Does the number change any if you walk away from the host wifi router? Something the phone mfr should know. UI Indications seen on mobile devices come from the phone mfr.

Have you considered it stands for a Wi-Fi 6 connection?

Does the Wi-Fi source you are connected to support Wi-Fi 6?
