Parental controls for individual devices
The network map shows the correct settings I selected in the details window, but for some reason the individual devices I chose to leave unfiltered by selecting "None" as the filtering level are still being blocked. Does this feature of the network map work on the R7000/R7300? Am I forced to set up bypass accounts? I have tried the bypass and it works, however it seems like it would be unnecessary if the network map settings worked for the individual devices. for the time being I've deleted my bypass account.
Hi gaug,
I think you can only edit those using the admin account or your main account of the LPC. Other users will not have that option.

Hi gaug,
You need to configure the bypass account for each device in order to have their won filtering level.

Thanks for the response JamesGL. I have the bypass accounts set up on the necessary devices already and they do work, but the Netgear Genie literature leads one to believe he or she still has the ability to choose or assign specific devices in the network map and set their filtering level individually. My understanding is that each devices' filtering level can be configured differently, some with the most restictive filtering, others with some filtering and if desired a few with no filters at all. Am I misunderstanding this feature of the network map, or is the router I have incapable of setting different filtering levels on different devices?
