Problems with router ac 1900 r7000

Hello,

I hace a ac1900 nighthawk router and I'm experiencing some problems:

The wifi network randomly disconnects from the internet (if  I use a pc connected via cable while wifi is disconnected I can browse without problems). Usually a reboot resolves the problem

The DNS (I'm referring to devices connected via wi fi) some times does not work and have to retry sereral times before getting the name resolution working.

I upgraded the firmware to the latest version one weeks ago, but the issues remain.

I'm sure that these are router problems because now I'm using the router provided by the internet provider and the problems are gone.

I bought the router on October 2020 and it seems that I cannot contact the support in order to get assistance, does anyone have suggestions ho to solve my problems?

Grazie,

   Giovanni

    1. what actual firmware version are you on?

    2. what modem/gateway is the router connected to?

    3. Are you using ipv6? If not, enable it.

the firmware version is 1.0.11.136, the router is connected to a ZTE PON (I have a FTTH connection).

I do not have ipv6 enabled because I'm not using it.

The router was working fine until two months ago, after I got the first problems I upgraded the firmware, but the problems remain.

Now I'm using a different router and all the problems are gone, so I'm excluding problem related to the ZTE PON.

Try enabling ipv6, If that doesn't help, you can always try downgrading the firmware a version or 2.
