R6700 Router Randomly Resets
I have an older nighthawk 6700, 4 years old or so. It started to randomly reset itself. After a few days this resetting/rebooting happened more and more. So, figuring that it might be a power supply/board issue I decided to get another router. I bought the R6700V3 to replace it. Guess what? It randomly reboots/resets as well. I have them both plugged in right now and they both randomly reset, not as often as was the case earlier with the older router. So, what could it be? Is it that the router keeps updating or maybe a bug? Can something the cable modem is doing cause this (only the new router is on the modem). I see there were issues in the past with this but it has been a long time since anyone complained so I figured the original issue was resolved. I need some ideas! BTW, when the new router was first started it did a firmware update. lil' help!
