R7000 dropping randomly - internet and admin unavailable until restart
Firmware: V1.0.6.28_1.1.83
Has been occuring since at least 2 updates ago.
Internet will drop, both wifi and hard wired connections. Admin interface unavailable also. Problem only corrected after quick reset. Happens randomly, sometimes 2-3 times a day. Thanks for any assistance.

When you update firmware you should reset your router to factory default.. Also, if you revert to a previous firmware. Reset to factory default and reconfig from scratch.. Always. Do it..

NETGEAR is currently fixing that firmware version.
For the meantime use fw ver 1.0.4.30.

However if this has been happening since two updates ago, then it could be something else.
One user in another thread (actually I think on the older forum) had an issue like this that turned out to be the power brick. This was discovered even after the router was replaced with another and did the same thing. After trying a new power brick the problem went away.
If the problem continues to occur after downgrading the FW, then try a different power brick, and if all else fails, try to RMA it (It has a one year warranty).

One week later and no drops. Fingers crossed it was as easy as a factory reset. Thanks!
