R7000 NAS Drive Can't Delete Files Folders Permissions Issue User \ Nobody
I have the R7000 with a Seagate STBV4000100 4TB USB 3.0 drive connected. I can connect to it just fine, drive shares work etc. From a WIN 7 64bit OS system using windows explorer I can create folders...

After a few reformats of the drive, it worked for me. The files on the eSata drive are exactly like the "standard" Windows Explorer. I can save, load, delete, change properties etc... Since it worked, I had to power down the router once, and after a restart, nothing had changed. Everything still working. (except the bad 5G wifi, and the "freaky" interface, but that was like before)...

I do have a case in with Netgear Tech Support. I'm still waiting on their feedback. I'll post what I found out. Looks like this is not uncommon per se'. I read somewhere a user had a similar issue after copying files which were RO (Read Only) on the windows side to the NAS drive connected to the router. This is something I did too. I want to see what Netgear says before I try something. What I plan on trying (if they don't provide a fix) is to connect the drive directly to my Windows PC and reset all the rights on the files to not be RO and see if that makes a difference.
Anyone else have any ideas?
