R7000 NAS Drive Can't Delete Files Folders Permissions Issue User \ Nobody
I have the R7000 with a Seagate STBV4000100 4TB USB 3.0 drive connected. I can connect to it just fine, drive shares work etc. From a WIN 7 64bit OS system using windows explorer I can create folders...

After a few reformats of the drive, it worked for me. The files on the eSata drive are exactly like the "standard" Windows Explorer. I can save, load, delete, change properties etc... Since it worked, I had to power down the router once, and after a restart, nothing had changed. Everything still working. (except the bad 5G wifi, and the "freaky" interface, but that was like before)...

Have done some additional testing with no success yet.

It seems to me, at least from a windows perspective that the Windows OS sees both impacted folder/file permissions EXACTLY the same as folders/files without the issue.
I cannot see any reason why random files and/or folders are unable to be deleted. Since the rights are controlled by the router, I'm beginning to wonder if this is a bug. Still waiting on feedback from Netgear Tech Support.
Anyone else seeing this? Any ideas? :confused:
