R7000 slow speeds

Looking for advice. I have the R7000 and dealing with slow speeds. Have Xfinity service and tech was just here and tested as high as 1300Mbps coming in. Tested 751Mpbs at the Arris Surfboard Modem. But when we test through the router we drop down to 200Mbps. I saw a post saying that software prior to 1.0.9.42 can cause slow speeds, so I did a factory reset and 1.0.11.123_10.2.100 loads back in. I do not have an option to load the recommended version. How can I correct this since I'm 2 months out of phone tech support help....

How are you testing speeds from the router?

what device are you hardwiring in to test?
What site are you testing speeds on?

Are you using the built in speedtest or using a app/browser?

    What arris modem is it?

We tested speeds from the modem and from the router. The coax is coming in from outside to the router and then ethernet to the modem and then ethernet to the desktop.

The Arris model is the SB6190.

Sites I was testing on was in the router page, speedtest.net and speedtest.xfinity.com

The testing equipment used for testing was the Xfinity tech's gear.

Have you made sure you have QOS disabled? Are you on the latest firmware?
