R7500 x4 vs the r7800 x4s
Which of the two is best for the home I know that x4s version has a faster processor and double the band witdh on the 5 ghz ac band. However does that alone different really matter in a 1100 square house with only a wireless printer, wireless ac laptop ac1300 top wifi speed on the 5ghz band, and wired desk with a gigabot nic. I do not see the r8000 or bigger as the right router may be the r7800 series. I have spectrum (BRIGHT HOUSE) and speed test shows 72.6 to73.4 mbit download and around 6 mbit upload and the modem is an Arriss tcg862g as we have their phone service as well.
What is this 71 mW limit you speak of?
While the R6400 will probably be fine, I have a soft spot for the R7000. The R7000 has really good third party firmware support should you ever decide to go that route.

I forget to say that one of them is going to replace wndr3400v1 with a dead 5ghz band.
For your situation, I would say that the X4S is not worth it. Most devices don't support 160 MHz channels. And the faster processor is not really worth it.
Even the X4 is also of questionable value. There are virtually no quad-stream Wi-Fi devices. Most devices are single-, dual- or triple-stream. Therefore, you will be unable to take advantage of the 1733 Mbps link speed.
The R7000 is an older but still a great router. It should handle your 1000 sq ft house with no problem, provided the walls are not made out of concrete, brick or lath and plaster.
One wall is made out of block and cover in pastor that divids the room where the wireless printer and wired computer are.
If this helps the house is a 1956 home and the room where the printer and computer lives is closed in carport so your going through a outside wall to reach but the wndr3400v1 can reach with it's outpower set for 521mwatts out on the 2.4 ghz band and gives a 54mbit wireless feed to the printer yes it uses dd-wrt firmware and has four 6db external antennas in place the internal ones most rooms have cat 6 lan port in the room.
