R7800 QoS on device priority issues on v1.0.2.63

R7800 QoS on device priority issue on v1.0.2.63

Can someone help on this issue please , it may also help others.

My issues are when QoS is enabled in the quality of service options and then go to attached device's and select my Xbox one as gaming console, it gives high priority and click apply then go back to check after setting the rest of the devices, the priority is back to low again, what could it be?

    you could try to roll back a firmware version and see if that resolves the issue that would let us know if it is a bug in the current firmware.

      thankyou for the reply Darren, I had tried Firefox, opera mini, explorer and duckduck go . the nighthawk x4s is in router mode with virgin hub3 in modem mode. with different browsers used , it changes priority then apply but soon goes back to low. using v1.0.2.63 beta. had factory reset when it was updated for the patch and upnp turned off.

        the device is still under warranty for the router till 2021 and using custom firmware would void it , if that's still correct.
