R7800 reboots in AP mode
For a long time my R7800 was working fine in normal mode.
Recently I got a firewalla and then put R7800 in AP mode .
if I do that, the system stays on only for a few minutes and then reboots.
before it reboots first the wireless stops working
any ideas what could be causing this

It might be worth taking a few minutes to "start over". i.e.
- Perform a Factory Reset on the R7800. as described on page 171 of the User Manual:
- Connect the R7800 WAN port to the Firewalla and observe:
o The IP address assigned to the R7800 by the Firewalla
o How the Firewalla describes the R7800 in its connection tables - Then, go into the R7800 Advanced Settings and change the R7800 from 'router' mode to AP mode.
- Again, observe how the Firewalla describes the R7800
- Perform a Factory Reset on the R7800. as described on page 171 of the User Manual:

WAN port is not connected as it is in AP mode. It is set to get IP from the router via DHCP.

Then try connecting the WAN port to the router instead of one of the LAN ports.

Ok, tried that also. Same behavior.

WAN port connection to the host router is required on all NG routers for Router OR AP mode.

Is the R7800 configured to get its WAN port IP address using a DHCP request to the primary router, or is it "set"?

Yes, it keeps rebooting

Reboots more than once? When a router changes 'modes' (router vs. AP) it always reboots as part of the process.

No idea why, but perhaps do a factory reset and set it up again.
