R7850 Nighthawk AC3000 Router Firmware
I have an R7850 Nighthawk AC3000 Router that randomly drops internet from some of my devices. After reading several other threads regarding this problem, I want to re-install the firmware on it. It is running firmware V1.0.5.52_10.1.67. According to the Nighthawk app and the web interface that version is current, there are no updates for it. I cannot find any firmware downloads for the R7850 Nighthawk AC3000 router. I can find firmware downloads for the R7850 Nighthawk AC3200 router, but this version is not listed there. Does anyone know where I can download this version of the firmware or how I can re-install it?

That's one of the hazards of using those "AC" labels.
AC3000 and AC3200 are not reliable guides to model numbers. Many devices come with an AC tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
So stick with the R7850 as the model number and you'll be fine.
Glad it worked out.

You can find the firmware here:

you're not actually on the most recent. I'd recommend manually instalilng the most recent, factory resetting, and doing a clean install (not from backup)

First of all, thanks for responding. So then the R7850 Nighthawk AC3000 Router is the same as the R7850 Nighthawk AC3200 Router? I downloaded the 1.0.5.64 firmware and installed it. Then I did a factory reset and a fresh install of my router. Everything is up and running. Time will tell if this makes any difference. Thanks again for your advice.
