Just got this router only changed the SSID via the app and now its in a reboot loop, reset does not work, is there an article or phone number to permanently fix this?

I wish I knew the answer to that. Sounds like it's in the same exact condition as mine. I even hooked up the serial interface, invoked a blinking amber power light (restore mode) tried to tftpd the firmware with puTTY and that - sadly - didn't work. Somehow it doesn't seem right that such an expensive product would so easily brick!!!!!
