R9000 qos settings are missing.
I just purchased the R9000. I am trying to set up the QOS rules but if I go to Advanced -> Setup -> QOS Setup; I am only seeing WMM settings there. I have tried on both 1.0.1.20 and 1.0.1.18 versions of the firmware. Please see image below. This is from 1.0.1.18 ( I rolled back from 1.0.1.20, assuming that it might be a firmware issue).
Hello All, we just released the firmware for R9000 with Dynamic QoS.

I noticed the same thing just yesterday when i got my X10....i checked the X6 and noticed both the dynamic QOS and WMM but the X10 only has the WMM
is the router handling QOS internally or there's a problem with the current firmware?

Agreed...Bump
- Randy5235AspirantLooking further into it, the option is there but is commented out in the source code. Uncommenting it does not work as expected sadly. I will dig into this further as time allows
Does Netgear ever respond to questions? Seems to be empty on any r9000 related ones :/

Are you guys in the new firmware. It seems you are still not in upto date firmware.
Check if you can get this working after updating the latest by using the notice ballon on the top and see if the new firmware works.
- Sewer_McDongleAspirantBump as well. Right now this is just a $500 switch. Figured it would have some kind of qos or bandwidth limiter functions for the price.
Feel like i bought an Escalade with only standard equipment. - Sewer_McDongleAspirantWhen will this function be added to the firmware?
I have the same issue here. Just hoping that Netgear will answer to us soon.
I read on another thread somewhere how they are releasing new firmware soon because of plex. Maybe it will appear along with that :p
- Sewer_McDongleAspirantWhat is QA? Please elaborate. Are there betas to help test?

Our QA team is currently doing a sanity test on it and will definitely push the update soon.
Beta testing is not offered at this time.

That's great news, since the R9000 will be available here in Australia soon now, and I have one on pre-order.
I've come to like Dynamic QOS, so just to be clear, QOS, or at least Dynamic QOS, is currently included in a firmware update under test now?
I know you can't give an ETA but is this likely to be available sooner rather than later, IOW, does the Quality Assurance process typically take months or weeks?

- Sewer_McDongleAspirantNew firmware came out. No qos anywhere on firmware. Is it on the next one?
- Sewer_McDongleAspirantBump. They said they were testing it for the firmware that just came out. It was not included, So we are looking for answers. Apparently one hand doesnt know what the other is doing at NG.
The post saying it was coming out prevented me from retuening the device. My return duration is almost up....- clithesProdigy
It is currently being tested, and all being well should be released fairly soon
- Sewer_McDongleAspirantAny updates? Guess i will just return it. There are no AD supported devices anyway except a laptop that cant touch the specs on my current one anyways.
- clithesProdigy
Hi,
it's still being tested atm
Regards
- foxesAspirantanu updates / eta

Nothing yet and no ETA.
- Sewer_McDongleAspirantSo why were we lied to previously saying it was coming out for the last firmware but never came out. Now there is nothing and no clue. I feel this was a ploy to stop the router getting returned back to the store.
Also funny the post keeps getting moved to different topic categories so it wont show up on search engines. Until someone responds again.
