RAX43V2 firmware update?

I have tried to update my firmware on my RAX43V2.

The router shows/says that there is a firmware update available but won't install it. I have tried manually installing from the downloaded file. When I try the manual update, it gives me the file/firmware is not for this device.

I am running the 1.1.3.18. When I log into/onto the router, it shows... A router firmware upgrade is available. I have downloaded all the updates, 4.28, 6.36 and 6.38. All of them give the same result when running the update...This file is incorrect.

The chat bot says 3.18 is current for my router, but the site and router show 3 updates...

Anyone else having this issue?

I have downloaded all the updates, 4.28, 6.36 and 6.38.

The chat bot says 3.18 is current for my router

The support page says 1.1.6.38, which I think is correct.

Try downloading that one,and then manually installing it from the web ui.  Extract it from the zip first (don't try to install the zip).

The direct download link is here:

What browser are you using? Try MS Edge or Firefox.

  • I am using Edge, Chrome and Firefox. Tried to upload(install/upgrade) via the web ui on all 3 browsers, getting the same error message.

So I am still running the 1.1.3.18

Are you uploading the .chk file inside the zip?

I have extracted the files and am uploading the .chk file.

Like StephenB says, after download, make sure to extract them prior to trying to upload them.
